Kelly T. Jensen is the managing consultant of Compelling Reason, an Oregon firm specializing in enterprise performance improvement. He has more than 30 years of experience introducing new technologies and management practices to the health care, high tech, application software, manufacturing and government sectors.
Mr. Jensen has held executive-level roles in operations, marketing and sales. His experience includes both large firms and entrepreneurial ventures. As a management consultant, Mr. Jensen has implemented transformational projects for numerous organizations including Kaiser Permanente, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Agilent Technologies, Nike, Cisco Systems, Intel, Nestle, state agencies in Oregon and Washington, hospitals across the United States and enterprises in Mexico, Argentina and Peru.
Mr. Jensen earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He holds various professional certifications and has taught business strategy as an adjunct faculty member at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
As board chair and chief operating officer of the FACES Foundation, Mr. Jensen coordinates surgical campaigns to medically under-served communities in Peru. He supports the Oregon Health Forum as a program committee member and as a forum moderator. He is past president of the Harvard Business School Association of Oregon where he leads pro-bono consulting projects for nonprofits.
